Medinosis is a mindful state of induced relaxation that incorporates meditation and hypnosis. Think, love child of Meditation + Hypnosis. During a Medinosis session the facilitator will verbally instruct the group to imagine pleasing scenarios and will affirm positive thoughts and feelings.

Meditation VS. Hypnosis
Meditation is the act of focusing on a single target (such as the breath or a repeated sound) to increase awareness of the moment and is usually performed alone. The repeated practice of meditation helps one achieve mental clarity, emotional stability, and a peaceful state.
Hypnosis is facilitated by a consulting hypnotist and participants are guided into a trance-like state using verbal repetition and mental images, in which heightened focus and concentration can be achieved. During this hypnotic state, the facilitator will offer positive suggestions that the subconscious mind is open to absorb, often times, producing immediate benefits.
